The Marenco Club Manifesto
Marenco Club is a non-place / many places.
A metaphysical space for gathering and sharing, for those who, like us, embrace Art as the highest form of expression, live it fully, and make it an essential part of their inner world.
Deliberately immune to every baser mercantile instinct, detached from all traditional or institutional circuits, we intend, through our ongoing project, to create inclusive events, open to everyone, with the aim of promoting emerging artists, while using, in our own time and according to our own non-negotiable aesthetic choices, spaces, journeys and forms of expression that are resolutely unconventional.
We are exhilarated by artistic creation, by the beauty inherent within it.
We dream that someone might glimpse a little of that beauty within us, too.

Connecting Stages takes shape as a crossing: a perceptual threshold in which different inner layers — consciousness, sensitivity, emotional tensions, choices — do not unfold in sequence, but overlap, contaminate one another, and continuously rewrite themselves.
The experience invites a descent: the soft, indeterminate pleasure of letting go, of moving downward, of losing oneself in depth in order to rise again. Not a simple downward motion, but an immersion into the stratifications of the self, where inner states thicken, contradict one another, and transform. In this deep space, perception becomes unstable, permeable, open to interference.
It is from this immersion that the gesture of ascent takes form: a re-emergence that does not coincide with a return to origin, but with a redefinition. The light toward which one moves is not a final destination, but an ideal construction — fragile, shifting — that we call subjectivity.
Within this process, the individual does not assert itself in isolation, but recognizes itself as part of a wider field: a sea of other presences, a relational horizon that constitutes the very fabric of the everyday. Connecting Stages inhabits this tension: between interiority and exposure, depth and surface, identity and relation — between what we are, what we choose, and what, together, we become.

Dj Mortimer, a historic figure of the Italian New Wave and Post-Punk scene, active since 1982 between Small Club in Pieve di Cento and Disco d’Oro in Bologna. Today he leads Backonwave, keeping alive a sonic imagination that crosses generations.
Main
Alessio Bertallot, musician, DJ and author, one of the most recognizable voices in Italian independent music culture. From Aeroplanitaliani to B Side and Casa Bertallot, he has contributed to the spread of new sonic languages across radio, research and performance.
Visual
Offset is a visual research project born from the collaboration between Discosfera and Elisio, supported by the European Union and developed with Link Academy through the VibeLab Nightschool program. It explores new forms of collective experience within contemporary club culture.

PAST EVENTS:
On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the spaces of ExDynamo, at Via dell’Indipendenza 71z in the heart of Bologna, will host Connecting Deep Vibes, Marenco Club’s new gathering where sound, vision, and community converge.
An environment to move through, where deep frequencies and moving visions intertwine, tracing a temporary geography shaped by resonances, presences, and shared perceptions.
The event will transform the venue into an immersive space where deep frequencies and moving visions intertwine through light and visual installations curated by Offset (tunnel area), creating a sensory experience open to the encounter between artists and the audience.
At the console: Alessandro Brighetti, DJ and host of Altre Connessioni on Radio Città Fujiko 103.1. This will be followed by vinyl DJ sets from Evaa (Poles Apart), then DJ Plein from the collective The Yard, and finally Weather Report, a trio moving between house and progressive.

at Insidesign, Ex Chiesa di Santa Maria della Neve – Vicolo della Neve 5, Bologna.
In the dialogue between the works of Federico Falanga and Aleksandar Petkov, matter takes on light and form, igniting with new possibilities. Falanga’s luminous installations and Petkov’s sculptural monoliths meet in space as complementary presences: light becomes substance, concrete becomes vibration.
Set within the former Church of Santa Maria della Neve, the exhibition unfolds in an architecturally evocative setting, where the works engage in dialogue with the memory of the place. The conversation extends to the objects of Insidesign Studiostore, creating an interplay of art, architecture, and design — a reflection on the object suspended between everyday life, functionality, history, and imagination.
The exhibition Connettendo luce e materia (Connecting Light and Matter) is organized by Marenco Club, the cultural extension of Marenco Dental Clinic: a space where art, music, and design create empathy and participation. Not just a place or an event, but a vision — another perspective where care meets beauty and transforms into community.

“Connecting Waves” is the title chosen by Marenco Club for the aperitif on Saturday, October 18, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Gallery 16, Via Nazario Sauro 16A, Bologna. The event will mark the beginning of the journey leading, next November, to the exhibition of works by two young artists, Federico Falanga and Aleksandar Petkov, hosted at Insidesign’s Vicolo della Neve venue, the historic interior design studio in Bologna.
Their creations take shape in a post-industrial setting: a space that is both a memory of the past and a laboratory for new possibilities. In these intersecting waves, the present is reflected, with its fluid energy and the drive toward a future capable of reinventing itself.
From 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, the console will be in the hands of DJ Mortimer.
