She graduated with honours from the University of Bologna in 2003 and continued as scholarship holder and tutor to teach Periodontology first and then with a collaboration contract. She is an adjunct professor: from 2009 to 2011 for the Surgery Master’s Degree of Professor C. Marchetti and from 2019 to the present day, for the national and international Master’s Degree in Periodontics and Implantology and Management of Soft Tissues.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Periodontology (second level) from the University of Siena, directed by Professor M de Sanctis. She is an active member of the Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology (SidP).

She has written and co-written over twenty publications in Italian and international journals on periodontology and mucogingival surgery, with contributions on root coverage techniques, gum aesthetics, management of non-carious lesions and surgical-prosthetic approaches. She is a co-author of the Atlas of Periodontology and Implant therapy (SidP) and speaker at national and international conferences.
